Cloud Computing - Basics
Cloud computing refers to the delivery of computing services—including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—over the Internet (the cloud) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. You typically pay only for cloud services you use, helping lower your operating costs, run your infrastructure more efficiently, and scale as your business needs change. Cloud computing allows you to access and use resources on demand, without the need to build and maintain your own infrastructure. Instead, you can access these resources through a cloud provider, which owns and operates the infrastructure and provides access to it over the Internet.
